If any part of these terms is unclear, please contact us before proceeding and we will be glad to explain.
These terms are intended to be readable and straightforward. They are not designed to limit your rights unreasonably, but to set clear expectations on both sides so that our working relationship can proceed smoothly.

3. Service Engagement
Our working relationship with you as a client proceeds in a considered, stepwise manner:
- Initial enquiry: You contact us to describe your timepiece and what you are hoping to achieve. There is no commitment at this stage.
- Assessment: Where appropriate, we carry out a Movement Assessment and Consultation (RM 620), which produces a written report on the condition of your piece and the options available. This fee may be credited toward the cost of subsequent work if you choose to proceed.
- Agreement: Before any restoration work commences, we will agree with you in writing on the scope, approach, and cost. No work will begin without your explicit approval.
- Completion: Upon completion, we will contact you to arrange collection or return of your timepiece and to discuss the work carried out.
4. Pricing and Payment
Our published service prices are as follows:
- Wall and Mantel Clock Service — RM 2,800
- Antique Pocket Watch Restoration — RM 1,950
- Movement Assessment and Consultation — RM 620
These prices are indicative. The final price for any engagement will be confirmed in writing before work begins. Prices may vary depending on the complexity of the work required, the age and condition of the piece, and any parts that need to be sourced. Where the actual scope differs from the initial estimate, we will advise you promptly and obtain your agreement before proceeding with additional work.
Payment terms will be confirmed at the time of the written agreement. Payment is expected upon collection or delivery of your timepiece unless otherwise arranged.
5. Care of Your Timepiece
We treat every piece entrusted to us with appropriate care and professional attention. While your timepiece is in our care, we take reasonable precautions to keep it safe. However, we ask that you note the following:
- We recommend that clients disclose any known fragility, previous repairs, or unusual features of their timepiece at the time of deposit.
- For pieces of significant monetary or sentimental value, we encourage clients to confirm their insurance arrangements prior to leaving the piece with us.
- We will not carry out any work beyond what has been agreed without contacting you first.
6. Turnaround Times
Estimated turnaround times are provided as a guide only:
- Wall and Mantel Clock Service: 4–8 weeks, depending on condition and parts availability.
- Antique Pocket Watch Restoration: Variable; discussed individually at the consultation stage.
- Movement Assessment and Consultation: Typically within 1–2 weeks of receiving the piece.
We will keep you informed of progress throughout and will contact you if any unforeseen circumstances might affect the expected timeline.
7. Uncollected Timepieces
If a completed timepiece is not collected within 90 days of notification, we will attempt to contact you using the details you provided. After a further period, and where we have been unable to reach you, we reserve the right to apply a reasonable storage charge or to take other appropriate steps in accordance with Malaysian law. We will make every reasonable effort to contact you before taking any such steps.
8. Limitation of Liability
Our liability to you in connection with any service engagement is limited to the value of the work carried out. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including any loss of sentimental value attributed to a timepiece. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for negligence causing personal injury or death, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
